The 10-meter digital elevation model (DEM) for the study area was derived from aerial stereophotography. The DEM was conditioned in the ARC/INFO Geographic Information System (GIS) by removing imperfections (e.g., sinks), and the conditioned DEM was used in ARC/INFO to delineate the watershed boundary and stream network. The delineated watershed boundaries were used in this study to exclude the grid cells outside the watershed in simulating the hydrologic components. The image here shows the watershed boundaries and stream networks derived from DEM.
